Vases, urns, or baskets are often displayed at the head or at the head and foot of the casket.  The designs generally match and blend with the flowers chosen for the casket spray.  Sometimes European Plant Baskets or other Grand Displays are chosen by the family.  Proportion of the flowers display compared to the casket the visitation space may be a consideration.
